Very impressed with the staff with how clean the center is as well as such a great atmosphere with staff and Residents

The staff at Sierra Valley are very professional and attend to the needs of the residents in a very professional manner. The facility is well maintained both inside and out. I’ve noticed that the residents are always in a jovial mood. The managers seem to put the needs of the residents as a top priority. Very impressed as I stated before with the professionalism of everyone who is employed at Sierra Valley Rehab.

My mom used to work in the cafeteria many years ago. She is now 86 years old. If I ever need care for her we would pick Sierra Valley Rehab. Most staff are great. Social worker Jehl is very knowledgeable.thank you Andrew for making things happen to make the residents as comfortable and happy as possible

My experience with Sierra Valley Rehab Center in Porterville was honestly a very positive one. From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming, respectful, and genuinely caring. The nurses, CNAs, therapists, and other staff members made me feel comfortable and treated me with kindness throughout my time there. I especially appreciated the patience and encouragement from the rehabilitation staff, who took the time to help with my recovery and make sure I understood what I was doing. The facility was clean, and I felt like the staff really did care about the people they were taking care of. Overall, I would recommend Sierra Valley Rehab Center to anyone looking for a place where their loved one can receive rehabilitation and supportive care. Of course, every experience can be different, but mine was a good one, and I’m grateful for the people there who made a difficult time a little easier.

I want to say that throughout the 4 years tha I’ve been in and out of Sierra Valley Rehab visiting friends and checking up on them I’ve never had an issue with the care they received. If there was a problem I’d speak up and if the staff forgot to take care of something I would go back and ask again. I’m an advocate for anyone I know that has been admitted into Sierra Valley Rehab and any where else. There’s always room to grow and feedback helps make changes for the better. I’m just glad that there’s more events and celebrations for the residents. I also look forward to collaboration to serve the community and families.

My mom has been here for over 15 years and she is in good hands with their physical therapists. They always get her out of bed and try their best to take care of her. John is the therapist’s name and he is great. You can tell he cares about the people he works with. Sure the place isn’t perfect but the staff there do care and it shows.

My sister had therapy here, the therapy staff are amazing and work hard.

My husband was in sierra valley rehab for 7 months after a stroke. The care he received was excellent, the staff was friendly and became like family. My husband went from wheelchair bound to now walking and back to his passion of cars and driving.

CNAs and Nurses are very caring. Everyone is very nice. Facility is always clean. Love the Activities. It is great to know my voice is heard. The food is ok not as good as mine.

Most clean facility I have ever seen in California.

Sierra Valley Rehab Center is a great place to have your loved ones reside in. My mom has been living there for about five years. I’ve observed the facility providing appropriate meals for my mom and the rest of the residents. I’ve witnessed the facility providing church services, activity/game time, occupational therapy, physical therapy and special events that increase smiles, spiritual growth, morale, fun, health and well development of the residents. The residents appear to be clean, dressed for the day, and appear well-groomed. The facility looks clean, rooms are tidy, and common areas are safe and active. I’ve witnessed the staff and residents interaction. The staff members treat residents with kindness, patience, respect, and promptness when called upon. The facility provides all the resources available and takes all the measures to maintain residents safe at all times. My mom is very happy there and in turn gives me peace. Great job, administration and staff!!
